WOMEN'S HEART DAYS

Heart Care Foundation of India came up with the idea o staring health days, normally we copy the west and observe their days. The foundation started the first September as the women heart day and 10th October as the Knee Replacement day. October 10th was so chosen as it was the day when Sh Atal Bihari Vajpai got his firth knee replacement done.

THE ONE DRESS SHOW: IN 2004 SEPTEMBER 5 THE FOUNDATION FOR THE FIRST TIME STARTED THE WOMEN HEART DAY AS " GLOW RED" function. All the women were invited to participate in the function wearing a red dress. The red signified danger, heart and the need for an urgent action. Similarly the foundation is planning to organize with Delhi Medical association GREEN REVOLUTION SAY on 5th June 2005 where the public will be requested to wear green dresses.
