Dharma Gurus oppose homosexuality marriage legislation : New Delhi WFR 23rd July 2009: Legalizing homosexuality by the government will be a direct attack on religious teachings, and will lead to a dilution of the same, resulting in a loosening of all moral social structures and laws. All religious gurus collected today by the World Fellowship of Religions at 23 Bhai Veer Singh Marg and passed a joint resolution that homosexuality is a deviation from normal laws of nature and is not accepted in any religious forum. The resolution further added that while one may not control what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms, any overt expression of deviant sexual activities have been actively discouraged by all religious teachings. The resolution requested the government of India not to legalize an act which may have serious and moral implications to Indian Society.
