BSNL Dil ka Darbar in September

 Heart Care Foundation of India, which has successfully pioneered many replicable low cost health education modules (Perfect Health Mela, Perfect Health Parade) for the common masses over last 20 years in India, in its quest to further strengthen the bondage with general public on prevention of common diseases, is organizing one day non stop public forum  “BSNL Dil Ka Durbar” on 6th SEPTEMBER (8 am-8 pm) at MAMC Auditorium, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi Gate New Delhi 110002 .

To announce the event a press conference was organized in the city here today and was addressed by Dr KK Aggarwal president Heart Care Foundation of India, Mr ……. Ahluwalia GM Marketing BSNL, Dr …… Bhagotia from DHS.Star attractions of the press conference were presence of Mr Chetan Chauhan and Mr Madan Lal, both  eminent former national cricketers and coaches.


The Durbar will be organized jointly with World Fellowship of Religions, Health & Family Welfare Dept. Govt. of NCT Delhi, other non govt. organizations (IMA New Delhi Branches, IJCP Academy of Medical Education, Maheshwari Club, Indian Institute of Homeopathy (Delhi state Chapter), Department of Elderly Care Moolchand Hospital etc.) The focus will be on life style interventions and reversal of chronic illnesses with focus on Low Cost Medicare to High Tech Medicare.

The one day public forum will be held on the same lines as Raj Durbar used to be held in golden old days during Mughal Maharaja Rule. It will be non stop question answer session in which the top medical experts from all over the country will answer the public questions (Fariyadis). Durbar will also focus on issues like when to do and when not to do etc. The registration is Free and more than 10000 needy people are expected to participate in this event.

Besides Allopathy experts from other systems of medicine (Homeopathy, Ayerveda, Unani, Siddha, Naturopathy, Yoga, etc.) will also be present to answer the public questions.

The subjects to be discussed will include reversal of heart diseases; angioplasty and bypass; reversal of kidney diseases; preventing cancers; preventing paralysis; non drug treatment of high B.P; prevention and management of diabetes, obesity & nutrition; osteoporosis; sex and diseases and medical emergencies and first aid.

Other attractions of the event will be day long free health checkup using all the systems of medical practice; exhibition on the latest medical aids available in the treatment of these diseases in the country; exhibition by various organizations; free distribution of public health education material; cultural shows in the evening; certificates to all the participants and coverage of day’s proceedings in CD format etc.

In addition, the economically poor heart patients who have been advised special treatments but are unable to afford, will be provided free or subsidized pacemakers, stents, heart devises  and other medical treatments. The selection of the patients for this medical benefit will be done by a screening committee to be set up for the purpose.
